For small pieces of work, of less than say 1 or 2 days work, we would normally provide a estimate and carry out work on a time and materials basis.

For larger project we employ the RAD (Rapid Application Development) approach. This involves splitting the development process into deliverable mini-projects and providing estimates and prototyping at each stage.
