SQL Server

Originally derived from a product called Sybase in the 1980s, Microsoft SQL Server is Microsoft's flagship enterprise product.

Now released as version 2008, Microsoft simply ticks all the boxes of a server based database at every level. Available from a free "Compact" version suitable for smaller applications and websites, up to the engine that drives corporate Microsoft itself.

SQL Server database are efficient, fast and secure. Most importantly they are scalable, both in terms of RAD compatibility and future growth.
